My Favorite MLA is Doug Griffiths as he has shown a commitment to the PC Party, his constituents, and the youth. He has tirelessly advocated for all of the above for many years. He has been a great elected official, party spokesmen, and youth advocate. MLA Doug Griffiths from Battleriver-Wainwright tops the list for me!
ReplyDeleteDefintely Ed!
ReplyDeleteWell I'd have to say my MLA was the best. Holla Ted Morton!!!! Let's see what he can do with our budget, and then he'll really be my fave
ReplyDeleteI really like Alana DeLong, Calgary Bow. She always listens, and has inspired me to get more involved in politics.
ReplyDeleteComing in as my second favorite is Allison Redford. I'm glad to see her in her new cabinet spot.
Both are good role models and strong women!
Clair I could not agree more with you! Alana is my MLA and a very good friend and then I work for Alison Redford in her constituency office and they are both great MLAs. Very smart and represent their constituents well. It would be great if we could connect sometime!
ReplyDeleteI like Ted Morton as my favourite MLA. It is no mistake that I also happen to live in Foothills-Rockyview. Ted was the one who got me into politics. He has done exceptional work with SRD and I expect he will do great as Finance Minister.
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree with Josh and Claire...Alana Delong is by far one of my fav MLA's! She stands up for what she truly believes in and, without a doubt, represents the views of her constituents. More MLA's should take the approach that she is taking...being fearless of losing her job and just doing what is right while she is in office!
ReplyDeleteI wish Ralph Klein was still around. He still wins by my books, what a guy. If only more politicians had more guts like him.
ReplyDeleteI definitly would have to say Richard Marz...He is a great person and he puts time into really listening to people. He is very good at helping people understand things as well. He is so experienced and just a great guy! He inspires me in so many ways to be the best I can be!!
ReplyDeleteRob Anderson. I supported him when he was a PC and now as a WAP. Until our party gets rid of Ed Stelmach as leader we are screwed.
ReplyDeleteI liked Rob Anderson too, but I think he shoulda stuck it out instead of jumping ship. Splitting the conservative vote doesn't help him or any other Torie. Next we'll have a Liberal for crying out loud.
ReplyDeleteAlana Delong tops my list for sure! She is not afraid to stand up for true progressive conservative values and, for that, she should be commended hugely!
ReplyDeleteI would have to disagree with Jenny! There is a reason that Alana has not received any appointments with the new shuffle. She has dug her own grave and she knows it! The only thing going for her is her age. I've been told that Calgary-Bow will only elect people as old as dirt!
ReplyDeleteI'm very up in the air about Alana Delong. I would have to agree with Jenny. Alana appears to not care what people think. She also involves her consituents on many issues. To top it off, she hosts an amazing party every year at her home in Calgary-Bow, which if you can believe it she built with her own hands.
ReplyDeletePartay!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWith or without Alana DeLong, but bring Dave Bronconier. He'll need a drink
